CASUAL DAY LOOK FEATURING A CHOKER-TEE

 

 

Hello Guys ,

 Remember the saying “there is nothing new under the face of this earth”. We are talking of trends…fashion. And indeed. One of the biggest trends resurfaced are chokers. Honestly I thought they only go back as far as the 1990’s But to my Surprise chokers have been in existence for thousands of years according to the curators  from  the jewelry museum of fine Arts. Yes trends come and go but as they come back there is always an upgrade or change of name. Talking of change of name, this reminds me of Kim Kardashian being slammed on social media about a week or two ago for calling cornrows “Bo Derek Braids” really guys, but with time I am sure cornrows will be a name of the past, and maybe just maybe Kim, you picked on a wrong thing to rename,but again others out there are already referring to cornrows as Bo Derek braids since, It’s all part of the ”come and go” trend am guessing.

Choker-tee’s are our topic of the day. To me, these are an upgrade of a choker. I am imagining the brilliant mind behind the choker-shirt must be that person who was obsessed with chokers and had a ton of collection but became fade up of them and created a choker shirt instead. I have this imagination because really wearing same accessory becomes a little boring sometimes but if a piece of clothing can be a two in one (clothing/accessory) then getting dressed up becomes effortless great. Who wouldn’t like the effortless great route?

I have seen these choker tees everywhere now and I love how flattering they are and inexpensive yet leave you looking highly fashionable. A choker-tee is perfect for a casual day look and can be worn with jeans, like I am wearing mine. I gave it a side tuck as you may know just a side tuck  in particular can change a look from plain to juicy. To get away from the basic tees and jean look, I threw over my oversized denim jacket, and for an additional pop of red to my t-shirt I added these red shoes and accessorized with sunglasses and the trendy bag. Other fun ways of wearing a choker can be with shorts and I am planning on wearing it with a pencil skirt on an easy Saturday. I don’t regret adding this Tee to my wardrobe because I know I will be wearing it a ton of times and differently. One other additional obsession I have over this Tee is the cool writings on it ,I think writings on Tees are also another trend on there on. I am now thinking of adding plain colored choker –tees to my wardrobe because I know this trend is still around even for summer 18.
